WELCOME TO
BLACK ROCK FARM
Specializing in hunter-jumper and equitation training, showing, imports and sales in Putnam, Connecticut.
Horses first,
sport second.
Located in beautiful northeastern Connecticut, Black Rock Farm is a place where horses and rider succeed through horse-led development, starting by taking meticulous care of each horse that comes into our program.
Founded by Kassandra Cousseillant and Ariana Cyr, we believe in training that accepts each horse as an individual with specific needs, which allows them to excel physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Our Facility
Located on 114 scenic acres tucked into the “Quiet Corner” of Putnam, Connecticut, Black Rock Farm feels like a true equestrian’s getaway. Our facility includes an 8-stall barn, an 80’x160’ outdoor arena, round pen, and nine turnout paddocks, along with extensive wooded trails and open fields for hacking and leisure rides.
Our horses enjoy full-day turnout when the New England weather permits and truly thrive in a very horse-centered environment.
Horses for
sale or lease
Black Rock Farm has a number of amazing horses available for sale or lease that are ready to excel with you in the hunter, jumper, or equitation rings!
Leases are available both on and off-farm. We’re confident that you’ll find your perfect partner right here at BRF.
We travel to a number of rated shows throughout the year, including HITS, CHSA, Marshall & Sterling Finals, USHJA Zone 1 Finals, the National Horse Show, and more.
